The contributors draw from numerous and far-ranging sources that are generally inaccessible to the public including geological data, Passamaquoddy tribal history, archaeological data and site reports, forensic data, documentation from French, Canadian, and American archives and National Park Service management studies. Few of the images of artifacts have been published before.
